My brother, James Mark Rippee, (Blind, Brain-Damaged, Physically Disabled, with Paranoid Schizophrenia and Anosognosia) who this personal blog is about... struck by another vehicle while crossing the street after Solano County Public Officials ignored our pleas to help him and being denied any help from Social Services or the Mental Health Dept. He is in Critical Condition and if he survives - will need several more surgeries and months in the hospital. This is the second time in 4 months time that he has been hit by a car in the County of Solano, California. Our family warned the County repeatedly that this would happen. Even they admtted knowing that he falls into traffic on the streets... What is it going to take to get the issues of the Seriously Mentally Ill taken seriously? His death?
